This stop motion film, directed by Stephanie Reckling, tells the story of two older women who become consumed by their own vanity and their lust for youth. I am beyond excited to be fabricating and animating for this film.
Responsable for lighting
Set unlit without final touches:
I'm responsable for the construction of the sink, towel rack, trash can, toilet seat, faucet, mirror frame, wall paper distressing and props on the counter top.
I created the light fixture above the mirror with vacuformed plastic, polycarbonate, and mounted with brass tubing onto an MDF backing
I constructed the sink using foam, birch, and MDF.
The trash can is sculpted from NSP clay. After making a silicone mold, I cast it in plastic and painted it with acrylic paint.
The towel is made of fabric and the rack is constructed with wire and epoxy.
The image to the right is the concept layout for the bathroom set. I drew this digitally in order to give the team an idea of what needs to be fabricated for this set.
The images to the left are mechanical drawings for the sink and toilet.
